Activities

The main focus of activity for the Foundation is training and health system strengthening. 

IMHSUS will provide training to health care professionals and other support staff about mental health and substance use and modalities of treatment and rehabilitation.

IMHSUS will provide public education through outreach programs and working with the media, schools, faith groups, village leaders, voluntary organisations, and local (rural and urban) communities to tackle the stigma surrounding mental illness and substance use.

IMHSUS will also help to establish facilities where people with mental health and substance use problems can maintain their recovery through participation in psycho-social therapeutic activities, life-skills development programmes and income generating schemes.
